Kenzie Doodle Arts was founded by artist Iris Mae Heart as a tribute to the little girl who had a love and passion for art and fashion. As an adult, she is now revisiting themes of childhood and giving a voice and platform to the younger artist who was never heard or seen.
"Kenzie Doodle" is the signature the artist works under. She was given the name by an instructor in kindergarten, because she was always drawing. Not only is it a signature, but also a persona. When the artist steps into Kenzie Doodle, the magic happens.

Kenzie Doodle Arts is dedicated to bringing the artist back to her roots: to be able to create and express herself freely like she did as a child. For years, the artist struggled with issues, such as, depression, loneliness, and emptiness. She never realized that this could be due to the fact that she stopped creating, and that she stopped allowing herself to be who she was: an imaginative being. Looking back at her childhood works, the artist sees so much creativity and attention to detail that she feels she has lost touch with now, as an adult. To gain back this creative freedom, the artist is currently studying her childhood works and learning from them. Common themes she has taken away include colorful palettes, fantasy worlds, and overall, the ability to create without letting fear overrule.
The artist wants "Kenzie Doodle" to be a signature name — for viewers to be able to see a piece and know it is part of the Kenzie Doodle collection. Kenzie Doodle signature works will center around fashion and femininity, and will be a vessel for creative freedom and expression. There will be common details from childhood works used as staples in most, or every, Kenzie Doodle work, such as, diamonds and swirls.
As the artist continues to relearn how to create and express herself freely again, she will also explore new mediums, and give way for Kenzie Doodle Arts to grow into a brand. The future of Kenzie Doodle Arts will be focused on bringing girlhood, femininity, and whimsy, into unique works of fashion, textiles, and jewelry.
